The Spring Equinox is a day to declare yourself ALIVE.  Like plants beginning to emerge from the darkness below ground, we crack open and let ourselves break through the dirt to reach for the sun.

Spring (if you are in the Northern hemisphere) is the season of re-emergence, of letting our tender new leaves unfurl and be touched by the sun.  The past few years of our lives were an extended period of composting, allowing what no longer useful to decay, and transmuting everything we took in from waste into gold. 

In this new season, we reclaim our right to flourish, to breathe, to connect, to share, to rejoice, and to grow.  Our spirits have been polished through friction and we are ready to Live again-finding boldness and purpose in the recognition of the preciousness of life. 

 Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to purge the body and nervous system of emotional debris.  It is part catharsis and part consciousness altering.  The experience moves stuck energy and facilitates release of strong emotions like anger and sadness.  It can help you to find a home in your body and your heart and help you learn to trust yourself.  It leaves you feeling softer, open and less burdened.
